SYNOPSIS:

SARAH DRAKE (30s) appears to live a charmed life—married to ALEX (30s), a successful and affluent dentist, with a mountain cabin, a gleaming yacht, and the kind of luxury that should equal happiness. But beneath the surface: cracks. A cold, transactional marriage. An overbearing mother-in-law pressuring for grandchildren. And Sarah’s own quiet despair over an unfulfilled creative career.

When Sarah reconnects with MYLES O’KEEFE (30s), a charismatic college friend and fellow sailing enthusiast, old sparks rekindle. Jealous of their chemistry, Alex gifts Sarah an opulent anniversary present: a one-of-a-kind gold and gemstone skeleton key pendant.

Weeks later, Sarah and Alex set off on a long-anticipated South Pacific sailing trip—a last-ditch attempt to salvage their faltering relationship. But during the homeward leg, the yacht is boarded by a crew of drug-smuggling pirates led by the unpredictable REYNALDO (40s). When Sarah offers up her pendant to appease the thieves, Alex fiercely resists—and is gunned down. The pirates torch the boat and set Sarah adrift, alone.

Days later, sunburnt and near death, Sarah washes ashore on a remote, uncharted island inhabited by PRESCOTT (50s), an enigmatic American expat with a recent leg amputation and a gentle but unsettling demeanor. A former veterinarian, he claims to live off the land and insists Sarah is safe. But as she regains strength, Sarah grows suspicious of his overly controlled routines, his mysterious bounty of “sea iguana”… and the sinister undercurrent of something deeply wrong.

Meanwhile, Myles—sailing nearby and secretly texting Sarah before her disappearance—spots her skeleton key pendant worn by Reynaldo in a Tahitian dive bar. Convinced she’s still alive, Myles follows the gang, narrowly avoiding detection. When his sailboat is repaired, he sets off to find her, unaware that Reynaldo has realized he’s being tailed—and turns the hunt around.

Back on the island, Prescott’s mask begins to crack. His past connections to Reynaldo and the drug trade come to light. Sarah soon uncovers the true horror of Prescott’s island: his meat isn’t iguana—it’s far more human. As he prepares for his next “harvest,” Sarah must outwit a killer, outlast the wild, and cling to the hope that Myles is coming.

As Myles and Sarah fight separate but converging battles for survival, secrets unravel: What really happened to Alex? Why does the skeleton key matter? And how far will Sarah go to escape—not just the island, but the person she’s been?

The clock is ticking. Love, betrayal, and survival collide in a final, twist-filled climax that peels back the last layer of deceit—revealing a truth darker than either could imagine.
